How do I interact with the fly?
In Terrarium, pick sugar, bitter or water and tap the dish to place a drop. Tap the fly to touch
its antennae. The hand button casts a shadow.
Why isn't my fly eating?
A full fly is less sensitive to sugar. Hunger builds up over hours in real time; the Lab tab can
speed time up to see it sooner.
Can my fly die?
No. It can get hungry, thirsty or exhausted, but it always recovers when you care for it.
Does the app use a lot of battery?
The whole brain model runs on your phone, so it uses more power than a typical app while it is
open. Nothing runs in the background when the app is closed.
Is this a real fly brain?
The wiring comes from the FlyWire connectome (138,639 neurons), but the neurons are simplified.
