Account Deletion

How to delete your WayLoo account and what happens to your data.

01

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open WayLoo and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

The deletion happens right away and cannot be undone. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.

02

Delete your account by e-mail

If you can't use the app, write to support@urinomapa.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the e-mail address of your account. If you signed in with Apple and used “Hide My Email”, tell us the address that Apple created. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

03

What is deleted

  • Your profile: e-mail, display name, user ID, password or Apple/Google sign-in link.
  • Your reviews, verifications, reports and edit proposals.
  • Your Wall of Fame entry (supporter record).
  • Your statistics.
04

What stays

  • Restrooms you added stay on the map without your name and without any link to you, because other people's reviews and verifications rely on them. If you want them removed as well, delete them in the app before deleting your account, or tell us in your e-mail.
  • Purchases: Apple or Google keep the record of your purchase, and a Lifetime purchase stays tied to your Apple ID or Google account. Our purchase provider RevenueCat keeps a purchase record; if you want it deleted, e-mail us before deleting your account, because afterwards we can no longer tell which record is yours.
  • Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in App Store or Google Play settings.
  • Sign in with Apple: if you used it, you can also remove WayLoo in your Apple ID settings under Sign in with Apple.
  • My Needs is stored only on your device, never with us. Deleting your account in the app also removes it from that device; on other devices, delete it in My Needs.
05

Retention after deletion

Your data is removed from our database immediately. It can remain in database recovery copies for up to 30 days and in server error logs for up to 7 days, after which it is gone for good. Usage statistics are anonymised and not linked to your account. More in the Privacy Policy.
